Trust Gone Wrong: Pizza Killers
The “pizza killer” case is the 1997 double homicide of Jeremy Giordano and Giorgio Gallara in Franklin Borough, New Jersey. On April 19, both men left Tony’s Pizza and Pasta to deliver an order to a remote address on Scott Road—an abandoned property that had been deliberately selected.
When they arrived, multiple shots were fired into their vehicle. Both men were removed from the car, searched, and killed at the scene. Investigators quickly determined the delivery had been part of a setup. Multiple pizza shops had received calls to the same address that night, and phone records traced those calls to a pay phone. Witnesses also reported seeing a distinctive vehicle near the scene.
