The Confession Question: Who Killed Bobbie Sue Hill?
Outline of a Murder

In 2005, Bobbie Sue Hill, a 29-year-old mother of five, was found murdered near Aledo, Texas. Nearly a decade later, investigators believed they had found her killer: Larry Driskill, a man with no known connection to Bobbie who eventually confessed—but repeatedly said he had no memory of committing the crime.

Some evidence appeared to support the case against Driskill, while other details raised serious questions about the confession and the interrogation that produced it. Did investigators finally break a guilty man, or did an innocent man become convinced he might have committed a murder he couldn't remember?

In this episode of Outline of a Murder, we examine the evidence on both sides and ask: Is Larry Driskill guilty or innocent?
